      Computer Requirements for Modern Warfare 2 -HELP-

      O.k. so I was planning on buying modern warfare 2 for my computer but I checked to see if it would run it and I got this... I'm sure my computer has more than enough to run it but can anyone tell me what I need upgraded.

      Don't know much about video cards. But I think you're good.

      everything is fine, except the video card, that's all you need to upgrade.

      is that thing serious? a dual core running at 5.7ghz? if so temps must be insane. anyway, the graphics card you have is a intel media accelator 4500m, which is only meant for hd video, graphics cards are made up of several things, stream processors, core clock, memory clock, shader clock, directx support and opengl support. the 4500m is integrated so it dosnt have any of them, bar 64mb ram which is about as much as you need for basic web browsing etc and low shader clocks. in short your computer wont run it, due to call of duty 4 engine is more intensive on graphics card than cpu. although you could upgrade very cheaply less than 100 pounds in the uk, dont know about us depending on where you are from. if you need recomendations just say. also depends on what res you play at, there are some graphics cards for less than 100 pounds that will cope with 1080p all high, 4xaa 16xaf at 50-90fps

      Alright im not to good with video cards and I would appreciate if you could direct me to some good video cards that can run these newer games.
      Also my cpu's are from japan so they are very high tech.

      Ive heard Newegg is popular in the states so heres a few.

      Heres Benchmarks of what you should expect bearing in mind, 60fps is the sweet spot for FPS games.
      http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,6...Duty/Practice/

      Note a GTS250 is a rebranded 9800GT, and Unless your playing at 2560x1600 512mb is fine, even for 1080p.

      BFG 9800GT 512MB (weekend offer $70 Free Shipping)

      XFX GTS250 1GB $115 after rebate

      PNY GTS250 1GB $110 After Rebate

      Note you will need around 500-700W depending on power COnsumption of other components with at least 24A over 2x 12V Rails.

      Also All these Cards are supported by Adobe, So you can take advantage of OpenGL in Applications, Like Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator Etc

      Thanks I'm going to try PNY GTS250 1GB
      And for the power consumption I think I might need to ask a computer specialist to see what I got.

      Or you could simply go to a PSU calculator->psu.calculator();
